Paige Kindlick Sofia Bryant stars as Dina in the Netflix series ‘I Am Not Okay With This.’ The show, which is now streaming on Netflix, follows a teenage girl named Sydney who’s navigating the trials and tribulations of high school, all while dealing with the complexities of her family, her budding sexuality, and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her. The series is from director/EP of ‘The End of the F***ing World’ Jonathan Entwistle and the producers of ‘Stranger Things.’ It’s based on the Charles Forsman graphic novel. Sofia stars alongside Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Richard Ellis, and Kathleen Rose Perkins. The season ended with Brad (Richard Ellis) outing Sydney (Sophia Lillis) at the school dance. As he’s about to reveal she has superpowers, Sydney makes his head explode. Yes, really. Dina is standing there in shock in the final moments of the episode. Paige Kindlick ‘What I really really like about her is that she kind of is this popular, cool girl, but she’s so nice to everyone,’ Sofia said. ‘She will give you the time of day. She really tries to see the best in everyone.’

Paige Kindlick ‘I think that if I had to deal with that I know I would have some trust issues,’ Sofia told HL. ‘I would just have really hard trust issues. It’s forever complicated.’

Sofia Bryant On Her Hopes For Season 2
Paige Kindlick Sofia wants to see a Dina and Stanley friendship. ‘We were actually talking and it would be really cool to kind of explore their friendship because, when you think about it, they’re the two people who are closest to Syd. The next person to find out about her powers would realistically be Dina, so it would be really interesting to kind of see how they would connect and kind of have each other’s backs because that’s a lot to deal with.’

Paige Kindlick ‘I’m really proud of that scene and being able to kind of more closely and accurately represent,’ she said. ‘I know that, even when we were on set, the tone and the air in the room at that moment was just so honest.’
